Revolucionando la Psicología Industrial-Organizacional: Aportaciones Innovadoras de la Inteligencia Artificial

Resumen

La psicología industrial organizacional (Psicología I-O) y la inteligencia artificial (IA) están revolucionando la gestión del capital humano en las organizaciones. Este vínculo va a redefinir las configuraciones en las organizaciones de todos los sectores. En este artículo se discutirá la importancia de la Psicología I-O y la IA en el ámbito aplicado e investigativo. Se examinará el impacto de áreas clásicas de la Psicología I-O, tales como: el análisis del trabajo, el reclutamiento, selección, adiestramiento y desarrollo, gestión del desempeño y el cambio y la transformación organizacional. La metodología utilizada fue una revisión de literatura sistemática de los estudios másrecientes que asocian estas áreas. La mayor parte de la literatura habla de la relación entre la Psicología I-O y la IA, pero se resalta que existen pocas investigaciones de la implantación de la IA en las áreas asociadas a la psicología del trabajo. Se discuten las ventajas que puede tener la incorporación de la IA en estos procesos, así como también las implicaciones éticas, morales y preocupaciones que pueden presentar las diversas tecnologías asociadas a la IA en los procesos vinculados a la psicología de las organizaciones y las investigaciones. Los profesionales de la Psicología I-O tendrán un papel crucial en los procesos de implantación de la IA y el impacto sociotécnico queesto tiene para las instituciones, asegurando que las aplicaciones de estas tecnologías beneficien tanto a empleados como a las organizaciones, mientras se mantienen estándares éticos y de equidad en el lugar de trabajo. Se espera que este trabajo beneficie a los lectores proveyendo información actualizada de cómo la IA está impactando las áreas de trabajo de la Psicología I/O. Esta profesión se encuentra en constante transformación y se requiere que se esté al corriente con las nuevas tendencias que afectan la práctica y la investigación en este campo.
